Oil-free & deep vacuum pumps for any SpeedVac application
Vacuum pumps are designed to reduce the pressure within a system thereby lowering the boiling point of a solvent. By reducing the boiling point, the solvent evaporates at a much lower temperature, which reduces sample degradation. Two pump styles are available from Thermo Scientific: traditional rotary vane oil pumps and the newer oil-free, maintenance free vacuum pumps.
Deep Vacuum Oil Pumps
Achieve maximum solute recovery with the Thermo Scientific™ Deep Vacuum Oil Pumps for Vacuum Concentrators, designed to work with all Savant™ SpeedVac™ concentrating and freeze drying systems.
Features:
- Three-position gas ballast control optimizes pump performance to suit all applications
- Large, sideview sight glass allows for convenient checking of proper oil levels at a glance
- Easily connects to any Savant SpeedVac system
All Rotary Vane Oil Pumps come standard with:
- Muffler (OME190 Oil Mist Eliminator)
- Two Oil Filters (MF190)
- Quick Drain Kit
- Vacuum pump oil recirculate / filter used on all VLP pumps (VPOF-110)

Oil-Free Vacuum Pumps
Eliminate oil mist vapors with Thermo Scientific™ Oil-Free Vacuum Pumps for Vacuum Concentrators, designed for a wide variety of laboratory uses. These quiet-running pumps are highly chemical resistant, and do not require oil to operate.
Features:
- Small footprint
- Four-headed design with chemically resistant solid ETFE and PFA heads
- Easily connects to any Savant SpeedVac system
- Recommended for use with acidic environments such as HCl, TFA, Acetic and Formic Acids as well as organic solvents
- Comes complete with ANT100 Post Trap for adding trapping and neutralizing solutions
