Explore our collection of wound pathogens and ABR targets

Whether you are interested in detecting polymicrobial infections, slow-growing anaerobic species, or antibiotic resistance (ABR) genes, we have an extensive list available for your research needs.

Qualified wound pathogens and ABR targets for research

Wound infections are often caused by fungi or bacteria, and some bacteria may be anaerobic, proving difficult to culture. In addition, wound infections are frequently polymicrobial, involving numerous microorganisms that could escape detection with traditional culture methods. Our wound pathogen assays focus on commonly occurring bacterial and fungal species to use with sensitive real-time PCR instruments to help you discover more, faster. To further understand potential causes of infection, our ABR assays are designed to target resistance genes in a diverse group of microbes.
