Configurations offering both spectral analysis and conventional compensation range from 5 to 9 lasers and up to 60 detectors (55 fluorescence and 2-5 scatter parameters), while configurations offering only traditional compensation come with 4 or 5 lasers and up to 35 detectors (30 fluorescence plus 2-5 scatter parameters). Other than the laser and detector configuration, all instrument models share the same specifications.
