TaqMan® Protein Assays are designed for highly sensitive and specific analysis of protein expression in small samples. Predesigned assays have been developed for the pluripotency markers OCT4, NANOG, SOX2, and LIN28 in human stem cells as well as the ubiquitous human proteins CSTB and ICAM1.
- Samples as diverse as cell lysates, fixed tissue, and whole cells have been successfully analyzed
- High specificity and sensitivity combined with small sample requirement make these assays an appealing alternative to more cumbersome and less quantitative methods such as western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and co-immunoprecipitation
