All-you-need training and service for Thermo Scientific viscometers, rheometers, torque rheometers, extruders and mixers
We are committed to delivering top-notch customer support, including tailored service products and fast response times. We offer a comprehensive range of services that can quickly and flexibly respond to various service needs and requests. Select only the service modules you want. Add modules at the time of equipment purchase, during warranty, or afterward as needed. We offer flexible, customer-centered service modules to cover every type of service challenge: installation, warranty extension, inspection, validation, repairs, maintenance and training.
Click on the individual service modules that interest you below to read more about them.
This module includes on-site installation of equipment, a visual inspection of the unit as well as testing of the installed instrument and operating instructions. An installation certificate confirms and logs the services that were conducted. Labor and local travel costs* are already included.
For customers requiring IQ/OQ support, we offer additional services to validate the equipment for GMP compliance.
Proper knowledge and skills to operate the instrument are crucial to generating reliable results. We offer a broad range of instrument training programs as well as application training in our application laboratories to ensure that your employees receive solid theoretical knowledge.
An extended warranty is available with the same benefits as the original warranty – all parts and labor are covered. After the extended warranty expires, our service modules offer further solutions for continued product support.
This module guarantees our rheometers, viscometers, laboratory mixers and extruders meet validation and standardization requirements such as ISO 9001, DIN, CE, etc. Local travel costs* for service engineers are included.* International services require the “travel and expenses flat rates” option.
The maintenance and calibration module can be requested as a one-time service. One-year contracts and self-renewing contracts for this module include the added benefit of an emergency response feature. Emergency response provides priority phone support, shorter response times and, for certain types of instruments, a loaner instrument to minimize downtime due to instrument maintenance.
We manufacture equipment to the highest quality standards, but should an unexpected repair event occur, the basic plan covers all repair services and local travel costs*. International services require the option “travel and expenses flat rates”.
Certified Thermo Fisher Scientific™ service engineers complete repairs and make certain the results meet internationally recognized standards. To bridge repair time we also offer loaner units.
We can also proactively inspect your equipment to ensure that it’s functioning correctly if such services are needed.
We offer flat rates for international travel and expenses to keep our service experts close at hand for your repair and calibration needs. Because their travel is priced at a flat rate, the service is more economical and you can better estimate annual service costs.
* Local travel costs are limited to North America, the United Kingdom and the countries of Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxemburg, China, Japan and India. All other countries require the travel and expenses flat rates option to cover international travel costs.
Application laboratories and support
We provide a broad range of product and application solutions for all material characterization products, and our team of application specialists is on hand to answer your questions.
Our fully equipped application laboratories are in constant demand for testing customer samples, and developing and optimizing pioneering applications. For our pharmaceutical twin-screw extruders and compounders used in drug formulation and manufacturing, our consultants may advise an application feasibility test of your active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). For special requests, we have labs that can handle high-potency, potentially hazardous APIs for unique feasibility studies.
Seminars and training courses
We offer comprehensive training programs, in-house seminars, and practical rheology and extrusion courses worldwide. Our courses provide both theoretical and practical knowledge for conducting and interpreting qualified measurements.
- Europe Training: Rheology basics, viscoelasticity, and HAAKE RheoWin Software.
- US Training: Rheology fundamentals, rotational testing, and creep recovery. For more information, please contact us
