Shake flask features
Thermo Scientific single-use cell culture Erlenmeyer flasks are excellent for suspension culture and media preparation. Ready for mixing and storage and featuring crystal-clear polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG), these single-use flasks are robust and break resistant.
Standard non-vented closures help prevent spilling and contamination, and optional vented closures (0.22 µm) improves gas exchange, especially beneficial for suspension cell culture.
NEW Flasks for maximizing suspension culture and protein expression scale-up
See how the 5-Liter flask can help save you time, money & space while helping reduce the media and plastics used in a lab all while helping increase efficiency for suspension culturing.
Our angled flask (Cat. No. 4115-5000) has also shown to be the only flask tested capable generating larger protein titers in CHO cells due to its proprietary design (see Figure 1).
Don’t take our word for it. See our application notes regarding how to help increase your potential for each Expi kit.
Product features include:
- Molded-in graduation for accurate volume assessment
- Non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic
- Optional vented caps for gas exchange
- Gamma irradiation sterilization (per ISO 1137-2)
- DNase-, RNase-, and human DNA-free
- BSE and TSE risk-free
