Agrigenomic solutions designed to optimize your laboratory's qPCR workflow
Thermo Fisher Scientific is committed to providing simple, scalable and affordable instruments, reagents, and next generation solutions for plant and animal genotyping applications. Easily integrated into most agrigenomic lab workflows, our flexible TaqMan® SNP genotyping assays, TaqMan® master mixes, and real-time PCR instruments help ensure that the qPCR test results you deliver to your customers are consistently rapid, accurate, and actionable.
TaqMan® assay chemistry provides a fast and simple way to get single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) genotyping results. Each predesigned assay in our massive collection includes two allele-specific TaqMan MGB probes containing distinct fluorescent dyes and a PCR primer pair to detect specific SNP targets. These TaqMan assays uniquely align with the genome to provide unmatched specificity for the allele of interest. With more than 6.2 million predesigned assays available for use with 48-, 96-, 384-well, and OpenArray real-time PCR instrument formats, you can select the workflow that best fits your genotyping needs.
TaqMan® master mixes contain buffer, dNTPs, passive reference dye, thermostable hot-start DNA polymerase, and other components formulated for reliable TaqMan Assay-based real-time PCR. Just add your sample and TaqMan Assay, and start your reactions. TaqMan® Genotyping Master Mix is specifically formulated for detection of copy number, DMEs, and SNPs. Use this mix for the best performance for genotyping applications.
