Durable construction

Thermo Scientific specialized shakers are built to last. Our emphasis on quality manufacturing practices ensures that only the highest-grade raw materials are used, including high-strength aluminum, stainless steel hardware, and high-quality resins for plastic moldings. Our specialized shakers are certified under both cCSAus and CE.

Simplified, robust designs include durable, impact resistant shaker housing, thick rubberized feet for stability, durable, low or no-maintenance drive mechanisms and brushless motors to provide years of worry-free use.

2-year warranty

All of our specialized shakers include a 2-year warranty parts and labor, or product replacement warranty, based on service part availability.

Reliable performance

We understand the strict performance parameters that are required for reproducible results. Our shakers and mixers are engineered for reliable performance and durability while meeting your specific sample processing needs. Speed, time and even angle adjustments offer precision with the adaptability to use in a wide variety of assays, optimizing your valuable bench space.

Digital display and simple controls

Newer models, such as the Thermal Mixer, are equipped with upgraded, digital LCD displays for at-a-glance shaking data. All models are designed with simple touch pad controls for speed, timing and temperature (for Thermal control models).

Accurate speed controls

Easily set shaking speed with touch pad controls and be assured that the shaker will perform within 1 –2 RPM depending on speed setting. Preset options allow you to quickly achieve your desired motion for more accuracy.

Adjustable angles

Models that operate on angles (e.g., rotators and rockers), include planar angle adjustability. These angle adjustments are easy to use and vary from 95° to 180°. These wide-angle ranges can help maintain the suspension state of biological samples such as blood mixing.

Ease of use

Our benchtop agitators and shakers of all types are designed to be precise and intuitive. Touch pad controls offer quick set up for time, speed, and temperature-specific operations. Preset options allow for immediate and repetitive use without set up. And because of the simplified and durable construction including spill resistant and sealed exteriors, making cleaning and maintenance easy.

Touch mode and pre-set options for fast and repetitive use

Models designed for routine mixing operations, such as the Digital Vortex Mixer, offer touch mode and pre-set options that allow user to simply hold the sample on the platform for a quick mix.

Automation Enabled

Thermo Scientific Magnetic Microplate Shakers were developed automation processing and SBS microplates of all sizes. Supporting a range of versatile applications, our Magnetic Microplate Shakers are designed for consistent circular and linear agitation that supports high-speed integrated applications. These shakers allow for simultaneous control of up to 14 shakers through master system software and raise and lower microplates for use with robotic workstations.
