- Now manufactured with BioTitan Retention Device—designed to provide superior universal retention that minimizes the risk of leaks and failures at the connection point.
- Proven film materials—available in both Aegis5-14 and CX5-14 films which are both produced in a cleanroom facility.
- Enhanced port design and customization—configurable options available with two, three, or four ports without the need for excess ports on the chamber resulting in fewer potential failure points and no liquid holdup.
- Improved sealing method—manufacturing process incorporates impulse heat sealing for port insertion utilizing Labtainer Automated Manufacturing (LAM).

- 100% integrity testing—helium integrity is conducted on all standard configurations.
- Lot-based test—Bacterial endotoxin testing (BET) is an in-vitro assay for detection and quantitation of each test to the USP <85> standard. Particulate analysis testing (PAT) includes procedures for removing, counting, and sizing particulate contaminants on or in the BPC to the USP <788> standard.
- Improved outer polyethylene (PE) bag—the protective PE bags used to package the Labtainer Pro BPC are manufacturing in a controlled environment, resulting in cleaner packaging with less risk of contaminants and particulate accumulation.
- Upgraded packaging—the outer packaging of the Labtainer Pro BPC has been further developed to prevent damage due to unpacking with sharps or other tools, as well as reduce outer packaging material by approximately 25%.
Designed to optimize the overall user experience
- Enhanced ergonomics—the improved handle feature allows for more ergonomic manipulation. An additional lower handle is available on the 2, 5, 10, and 20 L units.
- Improved drainage—the shape of the Labtainer Pro BPC has been redesigned to allow for better drainage with less manipulation required, featuring chamber geometry that tapers to the ports. This reduces the holdup column at the bottom of the BPC.
- User-friendly packaging—featuring easy-peel tape and easy-tear outer PE bags with directional-tear removal, which maintains the product integrity and provides a particulate barrier prior to product removal.
