Demonstrated Benefits of Low-flow Analytical Methods for Biopharmaceutical Applications | On-demand now
May 18, 2022
For researchers pursuing the next scientific breakthrough, our all-in-one low-flow Vanquish Neo UHPLC System is ideal for LC-MS application, proteomics, precision, medicine, translational research, and more.
This webinar will showcase:
- Low-flow analytical methods are suitable for biopharma applications such as mAb peptide mapping or host cell protein analysis.
- Low-flow analytical methods provide advantages for applications where limited sample is available, such as drug discovery and clone selection.
- The enhanced sensitivity demonstrated by low-flow analytical methods can be used to capture feature and modifications on viral capsid proteins from viral vectors used for gene therapy.
Key learning objectives:
- Discover the advantages of low-flow analytical methods for biopharmaceutical applications
- See how enhanced LC sensitivity can be used to capture feature and modifications on viral capsid proteins from viral vectors used for gene therapy
- Understand the benefits in which low-flow analytical methods can provide to mAb peptide mapping and host cell protein analysis
Who should attend?
- Biopharmaceutical research scientists
- Analytical scientists from biopharma companies working on or interested in low-flow applications
- PhD students in any field of biotherapeutic drug development
- Scientists looking to advance knowledge of biotherapeutic characterization methods and gene therapy
Presenters:
Lisa Strasser
Research Fellow
National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT)
Lisa Strasser received her PhD in 2018 from the University of Salzburg, Austria, where she was applying LC–MS based proteomics to elucidate allergic immune responses in human dendritic cells. She then moved to Dublin to join Systems Biology Ireland as a postdoctoral researcher studying colorectal cancer. In 2019, she started in the Characterization and Comparability Lab at NIBRT where she was initially focusing on the detection and quantitation of problematic host cell proteins in antibody products. Now, Lisa is working as a research fellow, focusing on developing novel analytical approaches for the characterization of adeno-associated viruses (AAVs) for the purpose of gene therapy.
