Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) is a powerful tool in the measurement of engine exhaust emissions. Of particular interest is the analysis of compounds involved in the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) process, which injects ammonia (NH3)-based compounds into the exhaust stream to reduce NOx emissions.
Our 30-minute presentation will introduce and discuss data collected at 5Hz from diesel emissions test cells using both FT-IR and traditional analyzers.
