Produce high quality building materials that improve your customers' success and your bottom line. The Thermo Scientific™ 21PlusHD Measurement and Control System for Building Materials provides repeatable, continuous performance in the manufacturing of insulation, roofing, shingles, carpet, flooring, nonwovens, abrasives and other building supplies that present challenging measurement environments. The system combines advanced sensor technology with low maintenance operation and a scaleable distributed system architecture to allow seamless modular expansion.
The 21PlusHD Measurement and Control System for Building Materials provides data to improve product quality and uniformity, process efficiency and raw material savings.
The system consists of one or multiple scanner, sensor and control system (if applicable) tailored to each application:
Operator Interface:
Feature WonderWare HMI user interface. Operator stations are PC-based and communicate with other system modules across an Ethernet LAN. Desktop interface and console configurations are available.
Communication Capabilities:
The 21PlusHD System provides powerful communication capabilities with industry-accepted OPC standards, allowing the sharing of product and process data with popular software packages for data acquisition, database building and quality analysis.
Instrument Performance Management:
As part of a Product Support Agreement (PSA), customers have access to Thermo Scientific Instrument Performance Management (IPM) Software. IPM is a cloud-based platform that remotely monitors the health, status and performance of gauging systems. With automatic notifications and advanced diagnostics, critical issues are identified in near-real time to provide immediate troubleshooting and faster repair times to quickly restore instrument performance and reduce production downtime.
