The Gibco CTS DynaCellect Magnetic Separation System is an automated instrument for T-cell isolation and activation, as well as magnetic bead removal. The instrument utilizes an integrated magnet-rocker and fluidics management for target-cell separation and subsequent bead removal in a closed system. The key design feature is the user programmable software, which enables design flexibility, performance precision, and scalability from process development to commercial manufacturing. Together with the fit-for-purpose, sterile, single-use consumables, it delivers high cell purity, recovery, and viability.

The magnet is situated on a rocker, which enables mixing of cells and beads during cell-bead incubation. Automated fluid management is achieved through a peristaltic pump and pinch valves allowing the transfer of fluid between bags. Fluid movement and pressure is monitored by bubble sensors and pressure occlusion sensors.
The intuitive user programmable software enables flexibility from process development to commercial manufacturing. And the closed and automated configuration minimizes failures in manufacturing, offering operator independent results and reduced contamination, while providing increased precision and scalability.

CTS DynaCellect Cell Isolation Kit are single-use fit-for-purpose kits for use with the CTS DynaCellect Magnetic Separation System. These kits are specifically designed for a range of cell processing applications such as isolation, depletion, and bead removal. Each kit has input/output sterile weldable tubes for flexible setup configurations.
