PluriTest Assay Service is a fast and cost-effective alternative to teratoma formation for verification of pluripotency in human pluripotent stem cell lines. This service leverages the GeneChip PrimeView Global Gene Expression Profile Array, which enables expression profiling with an emphasis on established well-annotated content. More than 36,000 transcripts and variants are measured per sample.

The PluriTest Assay Service offers:

  • Fast data delivery – turnaround time of four weeks or less
  • Convenient sample prep – just send a frozen cell pellet
  • Quantitative results – compare profiles to reference set of >450 cell lines and tissue types
  • Peer endorsement – cited >570 times in scientific literature
  • Exceptional support – a dedicated project manager for frequent project communication

How the PluriTest Assay Service works:

  • You send a pellet with two million cryopreserved cells to our laboratory for processing.
  • We isolate high-quality mRNA.
  • We process the RNA on the GeneChip Instrument System.
  • We analyze data using the PluriTest algorithm.

What you get

You will receive a comprehensive report that includes a plot reflecting two separate scores: pluripotency and novelty. The pluripotency score indicates how strongly a model-base pluripotency signature is expressed in the samples analyzed. The novelty score indicates the general model fit for a given sample. See Nat Methods 8:315 (2011) for more information.
