CaptureSelect HRP Anti-CD9 Conjugate includes a 12–15-kDa recombinant single-domain antibody fragment (VHH affinity ligand) that specifically binds with high affinity to the tetraspanin marker CD9. The affinity ligand is chemically conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP) via an appropriate spacer to maintain full binding capacity. This conjugate allows you to detect, quantitate, and characterize CD9-expressing extracellular vesicles (EVs) like exosomes.
CaptureSelect HRP Anti-CD9 Conjugate can be combined with CaptureSelect Biotin Anti-CD9 Conjugate (Cat. No. 7103402100) in enzyme-linked immunoassays to quantify the CD9-expressing EVs. Sandwich ELISA setups can be designed using the biotin anti-CD9 conjugate as a capture reagent immobilized on a streptavidin-coated surface. HRP anti-CD9 conjugate is then used for detection of bound CD9-positive EVs.
For detection of a broad variety of EVs and exosomes that originate from different cell types and secretion pathways, such as those of endosomal (CD63-enriched, CD9+, or CD81+) or ectosomal (CD63 low, CD9+, and CD81+) origin, we also offer CaptureSelect Biotin and HRP anti-CD63 conjugates and CaptureSelect Biotin and HRP anti-CD81 conjugates.
Recommended working dilution for sandwich ELISA: 1:5000 to 1:10,000 (the optimal working dilution should be determined empirically for each application).
