Osteoblast cells in adult zebrafish head cryosection. ELF 97 Endogenous Phosphatase Detection Kit, Texas Red-X wheat germ agglutinin and Hoechst 33342 nucleic acid stain.
Endogenous alkaline phosphatase activity of osteoblast cells in a cartilaginous element of an adult zebrafish head cryosection. The activity was localized with the ELF 97 Endogenous Phosphatase Detection Kit (E6601). In addition to the yellow-green fluorescence of the ELF 97 precipitate, the section was stained with Texas Red-X wheat germ agglutinin (W21405) and counterstained with the Hoechst 33342 nucleic acid stain (H1399, H3570, H21492). The triple-exposure image was acquired using bandpass filter sets appropriate for the ELF precipitate, Texas Red dye and AMCA.
