Transcend LX Multichannel UHPLC Systems

High throughput for clinical LC-MS applications.

Transcend LX Multichannel UHPLC Systems

Improve your LC-MS throughput and get a faster return on investment with a Thermo Scientific Transcend Multichannel LX UHPLC Systems. These UHPLC systems features unique multichannel technology that uses up to four separate LC channels in combination with a single mass spectrometer to increase throughput. Transcend Multichannel LX UHPLC systems offer a new level of simplicity and cost-effectiveness. Thermo Scientific Aria MX software, featuring an intuitive graphical interface, makes method setup easy and schedules all aspects of the system, including scheduling and management for multiple methods on multiple channels, simultaneously.

Highlights

Increased mass spectrometer utilization

Transcend multichannel systems have two or four LC channels that operate in parallel, independently, into a single mass spectrometer to double or quadruple throughput. One method can be run on all channels or each channel can run a different method simultaneously.

Extended sample capacity

Sample capacity can be extended from six to twelve 96- or 384-well plates by adding another cool stack to the Thermo Scientific TriPlus RSI autosampler for greater throughput. Thermo Scientific Transcend VLX-2 offers increased sample capacity with the Thermo Scientific Vanquish Charger module for a total capacity of up to nearly 9000 samples while the barcode reader simultaneously manages the complete inventory.

Improved throughput

Multichannel technology increases throughput two- to four-fold using a single instrument with no need for new method development, accelerating laboratory output and revenue generation.

Easy setup and system control

Thermo Scientific Aria MX software manages and controls pump operation, valve switching, cleaning, and gradients. Quickly develop methods and run batches of samples while managing multiple LC-MS methods on multiple channels simultaneously. Aria MX software is compatible with Thermo Scientific XCalibur or TraceFinder software.

How does multichannel LC-MS work?

Our multichannel LC system is designed specifically for LC-MS and allows you to run two of the same or two different applications using one mass spectrometer. Two channels run staggered LC-MS analyses, ensuring the mass spectrometer is never idle. The diagram below illustrates the resulting MS signal when running two different applications on the Transcend Multichannel LX UHPLC system simultaneously.

Maximize MS utilization by using multiple channels with intelligent scheduling to run the second analysis during column reconditioning.
