The ELF® 97 alcohol precipitate, demonstrating localization of endogenous alkaline phosphatase activity in the ciliary body of the zebrafish eye.
The yellow-green fluorescence of the ELF® 97 alcohol precipitate, demonstrating localization of endogenous alkaline phosphatase activity in the ciliary body of the zebrafish eye. Adult zebrafish cryosections were first stained with Texas Red®-X wheat germ agglutinin (Cat. no. W21405) followed by the ELF® 97 phosphate substrate in the ELF® 97 Endogenous Phosphatase Detection Kit (Cat. no. E6601), and finally the nuclei were counterstained with the blue-fluorescent Hoechst 33342 nucleic acid stain (Cat. no. H1399, H3570, H21492). The triple-exposure image was acquired using bandpass filters appropriate for the Texas Red® dye, ELF® 97 alcohol precipitate and AMCA.
