LinkSēq is a rapid genotyping method with a simple workflow that prevents post-amplification contamination. With a fast turnaround time in as little as 90 minutes, and minimal hands-on time, your lab’s productivity will greatly increase.
High throughput can be achieved by using a thermal cycler for the first 60 minutes of the amplification step and only 10 minutes on a real-time PCR instrument, so multiple samples can be typed within that hour. Our product line includes HLA genotyping of HLA and KIR, and blood genotyping of RH, ABO, and HPA.
Our LinkSēq reagents provide the most complete solution for high throughput laboratories interested in fast and easy typing of all 11 loci. This product provides low resolution typing for HLA A, B, C, DRB1, DRB345, DQA1, DQB1, DPA1, and DPB1, as well as common null alleles.
These kits type specific HLA alleles such as B27 or B*57:01. Each kit types a few specific alleles in strip format. This is a fast, efficient an cost effective solution for labs looking for specific typing of the alleles included in the strip.
Killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptors (KIR) are a family of cell surface receptors found on human Natural Killer (NK) cells. Certain KIR types interact with HLA Class I molecules to inhibit the activity of NK cells while other KIR types can stimulate NK activity. The LinkSēq KIR Typing Kit types all 15 KIR genes and 2 pseudogenes including both full length and deleted forms of 3DP1 and 2DS4 and allele-specific variants in 3DL1, 2DL1, and others.
Our accessories support the use of the core LinkSēq products and a key ancillary product is the LinkSēq Wipe Test. According to widely accepted Standards and Guidelines (e.g. ASHI and EFI), laboratories must routinely monitor for contamination of pre-amplification areas by the most common amplification products that are produced in the laboratory.
The LinkSēq Wipe Test was developed to detect both genomic DNA contamination as well as potential LinkSēq amplicon contamination. Additional products include accessories to ensure that your needs are covered.
