Early endosomes in live HeLa cells identified using green-fluorescent Alexa Fluor® 488 epidermal growth factor.
Early endosomes in live HeLa cells identified after a 10-minute incubation with green-fluorescent Alexa Fluor® 488 epidermal growth factor (Cat. no. E13345). The cells were subsequently fixed with paraformaldehyde and labeled with an antibody to the late endosomal protein, RhoB. That antibody was visualized with a red-orange–fluorescent secondary antibody. Nuclei were stained with TO-PRO®-3 iodide (Cat. no. T3605, pseudocolored blue). The image was contributed by Harry Mellor, University of Bristol.
