G3Lite Model
G3Lite Bioprocess Controller
Modularity for scale-up
The Thermo Scientific HyPerforma G3Lite Bioprocess Controller is an open-architecture control system that can be integrated with most bioreactors and fermentors - regardless of manufacturer. The system consists of a control tower that leverages intelligent transmitters, mass flow controllers (MFCs), pumps, and sensors. This controller is fully self-contained, mobile, and can be operated as stand-alone (for one vessel) or networked for multiple vessels. They are engineered to optimize capital cost for use in non-GMP and cGMP-certified production facilities.
Key features:
- Scalability: volumes 50 L to 2,000 L
- Modularity: predefined configurations available for 50, 100, 250, 500, 1,000 and 2,000 L bioreactors
- Touchscreen interface for easy data entry and control
- Stand-alone or networked (for multiple vessels)
- Redundant pH and DO sensors
For volumes ≤ 50 L
The G3Lab Bioprocess Controller, primarily used in drug discovery and R&D is often chosen in the process development phase.
For volumes ≤ 15 L
The GXCore Bioprocess Controller is a cost-effective, compact option, also suitable in the process development phase.
G3Pro Model
G3Pro Bioprocess Controller
Versatility for scale-up
The Thermo Scientific HyPerforma G3Pro Bioprocess Controller contains many of the G3Lite Bioprocess Controller capabilities as an open-architecture, universal controller used to control most bioreactors and fermentors. These controllers enable an additional layer of versatility, allowing mobility and flexibility in terms of providing options for any reconfiguration or application expansion. They are engineered to optimize capital cost for use in non-GMP and cGMP-certified production facilities.
Key features:
- Scalability: volumes 50 L to 2,000 L
- Open-architecture capabilities to integrate with vessels from other suppliers
- Single or dual cart mount option for easy mobility and reduced footprint
- Touchscreen NEMA interface for easy data entry and control
- Probe configuration options – flexible to connect electrochemical, single-use, or both for pH and DO measurements
- Redundant sensor control mechanism
- Can be adapted for multi-product applications
A stand-alone controller system for one vessel
The G3Lite Bioprocess Controller, primarily used in process development and clinical phases, is also suitable for commercial manufacturing when there is a need to have a stand-alone, modular controller system for one piece of equipment.
