QED Environmental products are designed to monitor, manage, and collect landfill gas and leachate extraction to best control gas production and collection plus monitor fugitive gas emissions.
Our selection includes leachate pumps, control systems, gas collection headworks, and both fixed and portable gas monitoring systems. All items are intrinsically safe, including our range of electric pumps.
All Geotech gas monitors are intrinsically safe and can be customized to suit budget and site requirements. The analysers can be configured to include GPS and sensors of varying ranges of H2S, CO or H2 compensated CO to determine the presence of underground fires as well as H2 and NH3.

Laser One is a single gas analyser specifically designed to measure methane (CH4) from 1 PPM to % range using tunable laser diode technologies.
QED Environmental products are designed to aid groundwater extraction of leachate to open areas for gas production and to mitigate leachate moving off site and impacted groundwater.
Products range from total fluid pumping with option of both pneumatic and electric for high flow requirements. These products are all designed to function in some of the harshest environments, making sure it is done by staying intrinsically safe. QED has a large variety of well heads designed for different sizes and material construction types. These well heads are designed to take a selection of the QED range of pumps or others.
Well heads are also designed in such a way that allows for gas extraction over a range of flow control options, incorporating orifice plates and their patented flow control valve to give an accurate flow over its opening range.
The QED quick change orifice plate well head is comprised of a well cap, gas riser, and precision control valve. The high visibility well head allows for pumping with a level indicator and perforations for manual dipping ports.
The QED Precision flow valve with an orifice plate option includes gas sampling ports and flow ports. The main body also allows for manual dipping or the addition of a pressure transducer via gland.
The control valve allows for improved linear flow control over the entire range of valve movements compared to traditional valving systems such as gate and ball valves.
