Description: The monoclonal mouse IgG2b is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
Applications Reported: This Mouse IgG2b, Kappa Isotype Control PE-Cyanine7 has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: This Mouse IgG2b, Kappa Isotype Control PE-Cyanine7 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Use this isotype control at the same concentration as experimental antibody.
Light sensitivity: This tandem dye is sensitive photo-induced oxidation. Please protect this vial and stained samples from light.
Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222-49) (100 µL cell sample + 100 µL IC Fixation Buffer) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Proudct # 00-5333-54) for up to 3 days in the dark at 4°C with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency/compensation. Some generalizations regarding fluorophore performance after fixation can be made, but clone specific performance should be determined empirically.
Super Bright 702 is a tandem dye that can be excited with the violet laser line (405 nm) and emits at 702 nm. We recommend using a 710/50 bandpass filter. Please make sure that your instrument is capable of detecting this fluorochrome.
When using two or more Super Bright dye-conjugated antibodies in a staining panel, it is recommended to use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize any non-specific polymer interactions. Please refer to the datasheet for Super Bright Staining Buffer for more information.

Mouse IgG2b is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody that is produced by B cells in response to an antigen. It is the third most abundant IgG subtype in the serum and plays a crucial role in the adaptive immune response. Mouse IgG2b is composed of two heavy chains and two light chains, and it is involved in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. It is also involved in the regulation of immune responses, including the activation of T cells and the inhibition of B cell activation. Mouse IgG2b is widely used in research and diagnostic applications, including ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry. It is also used in therapeutic applications, such as immunotherapy and vaccine development.
